Showcase 2009
In 2009 the Boston Music Conference partnered with Sonicbids and expanded the showcase offering to include over 25 performances. The artist represented all backgrounds and genres and competed in front of three judges; Eric Gast, Angel Martinez and Aldo Gonzalez. The winner of the 2009 Showcase was 13 yards to Victory. Second place went to Erin Daneele.
Mentorships 2009
In 2009 a mentorship component was incorporated into the conference to provide expert advice for attendees by some of the region’s top music industry professionals. Each mentor gave a personal 30-minute session, addressing the specific needs of conference registrants. Given the rave reviews and positive feedback from everyone who took part in the mentorship sessions, we will continue this segment in 2010.
